Fabric Order Fulfillment Team Member
Lyrical Fabrics is an online fabric shop operating out of the Dogpatch neighborhood in SF. We offer a thoughtfully curated selection of sustainable apparel fabrics that reflects the needs of the modern creative community.
As a young, growing business, we are looking to bring on a part time team member to help with order fulfillment. This is an entry-level job, so prior experience at a fabric shop is not necessary – we will train you. The ideal candidate is someone who would positively benefit from working at a fabric shop through learning about textiles and garment making, getting first dibs on new fabric arrivals, and receiving a fabric allowance and discounts at our shop.
We’re specifically looking for candidates that actively sew and/or design clothing that they wear themselves. Experience level in sewing is not important as long as you can demonstrate your interest in apparel-making and your personal style through current and past projects. We often have sewing parties and make group collections to promote our fabrics, so we're really looking for someone who can also contribute to that aspect of the team.
As an early employee in an upstart company, you will have the potential to grow with our business and directly feel the impact of your work. We’re looking for someone excited and not intimidated about this potential. This is a part-time job with potential to transition into a full-time position with more benefits.
