Well established Residential Management Company seeking an experienced Renovation Project Manager.

Job Overview:

The Renovation Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Property Management. Responsibilities will be to oversee and coordinate the renovation and code upgrades for multifamily housing projects in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

Obtain renovation bids and present for approval

Work with Architects, Engineers, and bldg. dept. to obtain permits

Maintain construction records

See that company safety programs are followed

Review and approve change orders

Develop construction budgets

Oversee the interior and exterior renovation of apt buildings.

Define the scope of work for property renovation projects to meet the owner and company vision.

Inspect buildings during acquisition period and coordinate contractors, vendors, and bids, to determine required cost of rehab work

Oversee general contractors and subcontractors completing renovation work

Work closely with Property Managers, vendors, Director of Operations and Owner to establish scope of renovation.

May perform other duties as required

Job Requirements:

Established residential construction experience.

Experience in multifamily renovation project

Ability to manage multiple projects

Knowledge of itemized construction costs and current industry trends

Knowledge of building codes, building permits, architectural drawings.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and work with a team.

Organized and high attention to detail

Proficient using Microsoft excel, Microsoft outlook, and other software and technology devices/programs

Willingness to learn new programs and systems as needed
