Western Management Properties Inc (www.westernmp.com) is a full-service property management firm. Currently, we manage units (mostly residential) many in the Berkeley/Oakland/Albany area for our clients, investors, and ourselves. We offer full service HOA management as well.

We are currently seeking a full time Property Manager. The person in this position will be responsible for all aspects of our portfolio including interaction with owners, vendors & tenants.

Responsibilities Include:

Day to day operations of Western Management Properties

The Manager will also provide the necessary leadership, guidance and motivation to ensure a positive working environment and quality community living.

Become knowledgeable of current City ordinance such as current allowable increase.

Provides orientation and on-site training Assistant Manager/Administrative Assistant.

Provides continual feedback and guidance to existing, as well as new, clients (owners) of building(s) and product knowledge.

Ensures that the property is maintained in accordance with Western Management standards.

Coordinate marketing efforts including advertising and competitive market analysis to minimize vacancy for rental properties.

Oversee facility-related issues; ranging from capital expenditures to repairs and maintenance.

Performing move-in inspections/walk through with all new residents on or before move-in day (Maintenance Supervisor to do as well).

Collaborate with clients to provide a team approach to the servicing of residential needs such as renovations and maintenance.

Calling or visiting competitive properties to update market survey information and keep abreast of market activity on a monthly basis.

Solicit to prospective clients in managing their rental units.

Supervise employees and vendors

Communicate with owners

Requirements Include:

CA Driver's License, a working and reliable vehicle with auto insurance & current registration.

Spanish speaking a plus, but not required

Strong customer service/resident relation skills, friendly, calm and helpful, even with difficult people.

Must have PC experience.

The hours for this position are Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Weekend and early evening work is sometimes necessary. In addition, you will be expected to share back up on-call responsibilities with our Maintenance Supervisor and Assistant Property Manager.
