The role of the Operations Coordinator is central to the direction, growth, and coordination of Marks Realty Group. While the specified duties of the Operations Coordinator are wide-ranging and subject to change as it pertains to the real estate market, the unwavering responsibilities are as follows:
Oversee and manage all aspects of seller and buyer transactions
Support the team’s agents
Stay on top of the team’s CRM and backend data input
Assume the role of the coordinator, scheduler, resource person, problem solver, mediator, and concierge
MUST-HAVES:
Can handle multiple projects at the same time as well as prioritize and manage time efficiently
Develop and maintain exceptional rapport with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, vendors, lenders, and others involved in the process
Have meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organizational and planning skills
Have the aptitude to juggle competing deadlines and remain cool under pressure
Possess a thorough understanding of practices and policies involved in real estate (or be thirsty to learn about such)
Remain flexible and willing to respond to emerging needs of the team or clients, vendors, or others involved in the life of a real estate transaction
Work with the intent of delivering concierge-level customer service to sellers and buyers, always
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times and project a positive image of Marks Realty Group to fellow team members, clients, others in the industry, and the community at-large
Have proficient critical, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Be process-oriented and have the drive to contribute to the improvement and development of processes that support the goals of Marks Realty Group
This person will work closely with one of Marin’s top-performing Realtors and his realtor counterparts in helping run an efficient and highly productive team. Possessing a deep commitment to supporting the growth and development of Marks Realty Group is at the core of this role.
Carried out successfully, the Operations Coordinator will allow the team’s agents to focus on nurturing clients and generating transactions, rather than prepping listings and closing transactions. In turn, every client will feel as though their experience with us is curated and enjoyable as they experience an exciting new chapter of life.
QUALIFICATIONS
Being a skilled multi-tasker; the duties listed in #1 apply to each listing. During the busy seasons it’s not uncommon to have upwards of five listings that are all running their course at the same time, though in different phases
A Bachelor’s Degree in the Liberal Arts is preferred but not required
A minimum of one year prior experience in an Operations role is preferred but not required
Must have or be willing to get a Real Estate salesperson license, though this position will not include sales of any sort
Must live within Marin, have their own car, a valid driver’s license, and insurance
Must be available and willing to work outside of normal business hours on a frequent basis.
Be proficient in using G-Suite
Be aware of or willing to learn MLS, Top Agent Network, Basecamp, Compass CRM, Facebook Workplace, HomeBot, and more
