Responsibilities:
- Ability and willingness to provide first class customer service
- Experience scheduling apartment turnover/make-ready process
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with plumbing, heating, and other electrical components
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with other team members and vendors
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Appfolio
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Appliance repair/installation of refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves
- Experience with vendor scheduling
- Organizational talent with the ability to multi-task
- Reliable vehicle required; compensation provided when used for work assignments
- Personal tools preferred
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role or field is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Self supervising. Work well independently
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Knowledge/use of Google calendar and basic computer software
- Leadership skills to supervise vendors and coordinate maintenance activities
