We are looking for a kind, outgoing and professional resident manager for a quiet, well-maintained 17-unit building in the Elmwood area of Berkeley.
Two years of prior apartment management experience is required. Knowledge in Yardi is preferred. A love of real estate/property management is essential. Duties consist of renting units, lease documentation, setting up and following up on maintenance requests, dealing with all resident concerns with a smile, vacuuming, sweeping, and minor cleaning of common areas as well as cleaning of apartments after move-out (which hasn't happened too often). One-bedroom apartment with parking provided at a very low rent plus hourly wage (must live on-site). Expect to work perhaps 10-12 hours per week. No pets. No smoking.
