ORDER ENTRY POSITION
We work with many different customers in the wine industry. We take orders from customers and input those orders into our AMS software so that order fillers or other warehouse workers can complete the process and get product moving to the recipients.
Order entry clerks work on the phone, email and sometimes in person to help fulfill orders for customers.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Customer Service: Order processors work directly with customers to take their orders. Being friendly and understanding their needs is crucial to the job.
Computer Skills: Order processors with computers and database systems. Understanding how to use a keyboard, typing, as well as computer programs like Microsoft Outlook, spreadsheets, and Word documents, is helpful.
Good Vision: Being able to see well and read information that might not be well written is key. Attention to detail is a must.
Time Management: This department is a fast-paced area where speed and accuracy are essential to meet cut-off times and deadlines. Being able to prioritize the different types of orders.
Speaking and writing in English is a must.
