Shinewith is an e-commerce online distributor for jewelry designers who use authentic gem material in their designs. We currently work with thousands of independent artists in the jewelry space. Most of our buyers are female mothers in the craft industry who love nature and gardening. We stand behind our products and superior service to help our creators shine even more. We are a lean/small company with a few staff only, but our customers range around 30+ countries and we work with world-famous designers. Shinewith is founded by an ex-tech dreamer with her international remote team.
You are:
- A self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and detail orientation
- A results-driven manager, you work well independently in person and collaboratively online
- Life passion for supporting creativity and jewelry designers
- Strong communication skills
What you will do:
- Perform work in-person at Market St and 2nd St SoMa Location
- Launch weekly products to our website (photos, videos of merchandise)
- Communicate with key customers (craft jewelers) weekly to resolve inquiries via email
- Collaborate with customer service staff (remote) and step in when needed
- Manage product design process and create new styles needed in the market
- In charge of office operations to maintain the success of the business
Skills and experience for success:
- Familiar with photography, Google Sheets, and social media
- Experience with jewelry e-commerce or store operations preferred
- Comfortable working collaboratively in person and with a remote team
- English communication skills, can-do attitude, and desire to learn
- Bilingual in Chinese or Tagalog or Spanish is a bonus but not required
- Major in art, jewelry, gemstones, or fashion preferred but not required
Compensation/hours:
- Extremely flexible hours, as long as work is completed
- 20-30 hours per week depending on your schedule
- Hourly rate: $20-$25 with a year-end annual bonus
