Small home-run business owner seeking an individual to assist with mail handling.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Must have car or truck that can carry from 2 to 8 banker boxes of mail.
Responsibilities:
1. Mail Handling (Approx. 4-5 hours, 1-2 times a week):
- Arrive early and retrieve mail from 34 P.O. Boxes at the Saratoga post office, twice a week. (2 miles from house)
- Place incoming mail into 34 banker boxes / trays (1 box per P.O. Box)
- Weigh 2 - 8 banker boxes a week to get a count of # of postcards / box (scale provided at house)
- Scan 1-20 pieces of mail per week (scanner / computer provided)
- Notify owner of any urgent or important mail items.
Schedule:
- 4-5 hours / day, 1-2 days a week to do the mail.
