We are a busy, dynamic family located in Napa, CA, seeking an organized, proactive, and reliable Family Assistant / House Manager. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of managing household responsibilities with ease. This role requires flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude to help keep our home and schedules running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Grocery Shopping & Stocking – Ensure the home is well-stocked with essential items, food, and supplies.

Home Organization & Management – Maintain an orderly household, oversee supplies, and handle reordering as needed.

Purchasing & Returns – Manage online orders for household goods, clothing, gifts, and special requests; handle returns and exchanges efficiently.

Dinner Reservations & Entertainment – Book dinner reservations, coordinate special requests, and assist with entertainment planning.

Travel Coordination – Plan and organize family travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itinerary management.

Calendar & Scheduling – Maintain and coordinate the family’s personal and professional schedules.

Errands & Miscellaneous Tasks – Handle tasks such as dry cleaning, mailing packages, and ad-hoc requests.

Household Staff Liaison – Coordinate with housekeepers, landscapers, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations.

Emergency Handling & Problem-Solving – Be prepared to assist with last-minute changes and unexpected situations efficiently.

Smart Home & Tech Management – Comfortable using and troubleshooting smart home devices (e.g., Nest, Ring, Sonos) and managing online scheduling platforms.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Family Assistant, House Manager, or similar role.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple schedules seamlessly and adjust as needed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with technology, including Google Calendar, online shopping platforms, and mobile apps.

Knowledge of Napa and Sacramento areas for local tasks and reservations.

Must be flexible, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
