Immediate opening for a full-time, Administrative Secretary I position.

JOB DUTIES

The Administrative Secretary I duties includes greeting Officers, Members and staff. They work closely with other administrators and Officers, including the President and Secretary Treasurer. The Administrator will compose documents, spreadsheets, prepare reports and perform other clerical tasks. The Administrator Secretary I will also prepare Members Invoices, obtain Member payments, and enter/maintain member data in company database.

Other duties include answering and directing phone calls or take messages for appropriate parties, make copies and scan documents. As well as, perform general administrative duties such as but not limited to; filing, photocopying, typing up and distributing meeting minutes, ordering supplies, sorting and distributing correspondence and maintaining database records.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

1-2 years experience providing administrative support

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and managing files and records and other office procedures at a proficient level.

Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook

General basic knowledge of and ability to learn company’s database software and systems.

The applicant must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and must obtain the skill to give great attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Environment: The work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, knee, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight 50 lbs; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

FULL-TIME. Hours are from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
