SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

The Activity Coordinator is responsible for the development and provision of activity services as well as expected to help implement and advise the Property Manager on overall activities needs of the project, community and other resident activities.

Responsibilities:

Conduct an ongoing schedule of established events and develop and implement new ideas for activities.

Plan and facilitate special events as appropriate.

Work with management team to ensure minimum disruption and coverage of scheduled activities.

Compose and produce monthly newsletter and distribute to staff and residents by deadline.

Create the monthly calendar of activities.

Post activity and information flyers, poster and sign-ups in a timely manner.

Welcome all new residents and provide them with current newsletter and orientation to activities within site

Qualifications:

Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well with diverse and multi-lingual populations.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in activity service area or related field working with low-income families, youth, seniors and disabled population.
