ORGANIZATION

Adolescent Counseling Services (ACS) was founded in 1975 and its mission is to empower youth in our community to find their way through social-emotional support and by building safe, accepting communities. To achieve this, ACS operates four programs serving 10-25 year olds in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties: the On-Campus Counseling Program, providing free counseling on-campus at partner secondary schools; the Outlet Program, providing support, education, leadership development, and advocacy for LGBTQQ+ youth; the Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment Program, providing assessment, outpatient treatment, aftercare, and education; and the Community Counseling Program, providing affordable individual and family counseling during the afternoon and evening hours.

This position is perfect for individuals who are post degreed and looking for management responsibilities while still accumulating clinical licensing hours. The position is also ideal for individuals who have children in school as the schedule follows schools’ schedules. Licensed Clinicians with two+ years post licensure are encouraged to apply as well!

The ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing and providing clinical services on elementary, middle, or high school campuses, collaborating with school administration, developing new Mental Health service protocols and procedures and, ideally, providing clinical supervision of unlicensed interns. The Site Manager would work collaboratively within the on-campus administrative team in developing innovative delivery of services according to the current state of the pandemic.

The Site Manager is the "face" of ACS. The Site Manager will be part of an innovative team of managers helping to adapt and evolve all of our youth programming based on the limitations imposed by the pandemic and in response to the social movements under way.
