The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance duties which include upkeep, repair, inspection, and improvement of AACI facilities and equipment.

Duties and responsibilities
Perform semi-skilled preventive and routine maintenance work, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general mechanical repairs, carpentry and related trades work.
Perform daily walk-through/examination of facility, grounds and equipment.
Inspect buildings, electrical systems, grounds, and equipment to ensure safe, well-maintained conditions, identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
Complete a variety of routine services and repair operations to the facility itself, common equipment, furnishings, and fixtures.
Receive, manage, and process work order requests.
Operate a variety of power and hand tools to complete jobs.
Perform a variety of locksmith duties; install, repair, and replace locks on doors.
Prepare workstations for new hires.
Act as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
