Full Time Office Administrator
Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 plus benefits
Onsite Work Week: Sunday – Thursday
Unity In Marin is seeking a full time, onsite Office Administrator for our community programming and Montessori Pre-School.
Unity In Marin, a non-profit 501c3, is an open and inclusive spiritual community that is celebrating 60 years of service in Marin. Our beautiful campus is located in Hamilton Fields, Novato. Our Montessori Pre-School was established in 2018 to help meet the need for quality early childhood education in Novato. Although Hamilton Montessori is independent and not affiliated with Unity In Marin spiritually, the themes of education and the importance of the natural process of learning are central to both Unity teachings and Montessori philosophy.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Flexible, able to multi-task
Able to work independently and as a team player
12 Early Childhood Education Credits – can be in process or willing to obtain
Experience with Educational Licensing Requirements a plus
Technology savvy – proficient or adept at learning new software including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe PDF, Databases (Planning Center Online a plus), G Drive, DropBox, MailChimp,1Password, QuickBooks Online, UnCat
Office Administrator responsibilities include:
1. Providing administrative support to Senior Minister, Board, Staff, Teachers, Parents & Volunteers
- Streamline and implement administrative systems that include yearly, monthly, weekly and daily administrative duties.
- Manage databases, cloud file storage and Planning Center Online.
- Schedule school tours, manage enrollment and licensing compliance (audit reports for immunizations, medical, school forms).
- Coordinate and interact with teachers, volunteer teams, parents and community.
- Handle and route all communications as appropriate.
2. Assisting and providing administrative support for Sunday service and other special events
- Assist with planning/scheduling/preparation of staff, parent, committee meetings and events.
- Manage registrations in Planning Center Online and Eventbrite.
- Create and send press releases when applicable.
- Interface and support guest speakers and facilitators.
3. Interfacing with bookkeeper
- Checks scanned
- Expense receipts uploaded
