Are you someone who has a passion for cooking, and who wants to make a difference in your community? HealthRIGHT 360 is looking for a Full-Time Cook with hands-on cooking skills and a diverse knowledge of cuisine to join us. You will be working in a community-based professional kitchen with client participation and support, using a general production menu and cooking methods. Join our team of dedicated individuals committed to treating people in need of substance abuse, mental health, and primary care treatment.
The Full-Time Cook must have knowledge of standard cuisine foods and a variety of cooking skills. The ability to multi-task in a high paced environment is key to this role. This is a hand-on position, so you must have a working knowledge of how a professional kitchen operates, including sanitation and safe food handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Over seeing general operations for the facility multi tasking skills receiving andshipping supplies and food as needed.
Three or more years of experience in a professional kitchen.
Must have a high level of sensitivity and compassion with the client population; you will truly make a difference in the community as a role model.
We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
3 or more years with back off the house hands on cooking skills.
Culinaryschool or culinary training is a bonus
Must have a sensitive level and compassion with challenged population
Must be able to troubleshoot special diet needs on demand.
