We are a Synagogue in the Sunset, looking for someone to provide support for our Administrator and coverage when the Administrator is unavailable or out of the office.
Need someone that is efficient, helpful, detail-oriented, a quick learner, pleasant, able to complete tasks independently, and shift focus and priorities as necessary.
The individual should exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills; be able to handle sensitive and personal information with discretion; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; require minimal direction; and have a positive attitude.
The person should be computer-proficient, especially in the MS Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook). This role primarily involves providing reception and customer service support. Additional tasks would include, but not be limited to:
Answering phone calls, taking accurate messages, and forwarding to the appropriate person or assist caller properly
Producing letters, memos, and materials (which may contain/relate to religious terminology/events)
Preparing and sending notices, donation acknowledgments, miscellaneous mailings
Creating and sending Constant Contact mailings
Creating program and event flyers for mailing and posting
Receipting incoming checks/donations
Recording event reservations
Filing
Taking inventory of supplies
Completing general office work and ad hoc projects, as needed
