Established high-end custom drapery and wall upholstery workroom is seeking a workroom manager to lead in the manufacturing and installation of custom window treatments. This includes custom made fabric shades (such as roman shades), woven wood blinds (wide variety), curtains, and custom hardware. Located in San Francisco, Fabric Walls Inc has been in the industry since 1977. With business steady and growing, we are looking to fill multiple positions to expand the team.

Main responsibilities:
Manage daily production and workflow
Maintain quality control
Oversee inspection and inventory of materials and hardware
Provide guidance and answer questions on the manufacturing of projects
Skills required:
Knowledge and experience with custom draperies, high end-fabrics, and window treatments.
Group communication and a motivation to lead the team
Knowledge of sewing construction and techniques
Use hand and power tools- Drills, saws, pneumatic staple, and nail guns
Sewing skills- Hand sewing as well as a variety of home and industrial machines
Installation- Be comfortable on a ladder, the ability to lift heavy curtains and hardware
Valid driver’s license - Insurable by good driving record
Communicate effectively- Both written and verbal, in English
Positive Attitude- Willing to work and learn in a team environment
Good Mathematical aptitude and accuracy
Full-time position. General work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm.
