The New Haven Companies Inc. is looking for a working warehouse manager.

Directs, supervises, and coordinates all activities of company’ San Leandro warehouse operations. Ensures shipping, receiving, storage and distribution performance are completed in an efficient manner. Takes precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss, inspects warehouse facilities and equipment in order to maintain a safe, and effective work place. You will oversees all activities of the warehouse workers and participates in inventory control.

This position is a working manager position. The Warehouse Manager would load, unload, Operate the forklift, Operate the pallet jack, and work along side his leads to Direct warehouse associates of his crew in day to day responsibilities. The Warehouse Manager would over see our hours of service software with our drivers to make sure deliveries are scheduled. The Warehouse Manager would report to our General Manager Of the San Leandro location. Both Managers would actively communicate very closely together to make sure that the location is cleaned, organized and running at top efficiency. The Warehouse Manager would Supervisor a crew of up to 10 employees. Would love to have a supervisor who has warehouse experience ready to move to a leader role who can be an effective manager and work along side their crew and direct and guide them. Would prefer someone who has product knowledge in the moving and storage. The Manager would have to know how to guide and lead his team and bring a can do attitude for what ever happens on a day to day basis. The Position is Monday through Friday, occasional Saturday for inventory 3 times a year. The warehouse manager would know how to plan out their day in order to get trucks loaded by the afternoon so that our drivers can leave first thing in the morning. This position would be a salaried exempt position.

Director of Human Resources will be on Site to meet with Drivers Monday through Friday June 10, 2024 through June 14, 2024
