Cirexx International, Inc. has immediate openings for the SMT Technician position.
JOB OVERVIEW:
Assembly of printed circuit boards using equipment in surface mount line. Set-up, care and operation of SMT machines.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school or equivalent education. Experience in electronics assembly environment. 2+ years on-the-job experience running SMT equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Knowledge of Yamaha and/or Assembleon equipment, a plus.
Familiarity with IPC-A-610 Accountability of Electronic Assemblies.
Ability to work with speed and accuracy and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work as a team with fellow employees.
Must be a U.S. Person under the requirements of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and operate the entire SMT line, including screen printer, SPI machine, pick and place machine, and reflow oven.
Monitor assemblies through the process and report any discrepancies to Process Engineers or Supervisor.
Clean assemblies using batch cleaner.
Interface with Q.C. Inspectors and Process Engineers to ensure the highest level of quality and adherence to IPC-610 Standards.
