SMT Set up/operator

We have a need for a part time person with some experience setting up SMT feeder/kit set up. We will train to monitor and operate the SMT line. This position is for second shit and starts at 3:00PM until 7 PM. If the work is in demand the hours could be longer up to 8 hours for that shift. This is a very quiet operation and near stress free. Easy peasy. Just follow the Engineering manager lead and it should be simple. There is a lot of room for growth for those individuals seeking to advance themselves in that department. We often cross train in many other areas within the operations of our company. ALL our employees are crossed trained in other processes. If you do not have any experience and are ambitious, attentive to detail (very important) having a mechanical aptitude and wanting to get into Electronic Manufacturing industry, this could be a good start for you. We are a small EMS company having two footprints. San Jose manages small volume and prototypes. Asia factory manages the high volume. We are planing a relocation to South San Jose into a larger space 2.5X our current size. We believe this will be complete in the 3rd quarter of this year. This is in anticipation of a a few contracts signed early this year with Tier 1, Original Design Manufactures (ODM).
