Busy CNC machine shop in Livermore looking for a parts finishing and deburr tech.
Job Overview
This position involves removing sharp edges and creating uniform finishes on metal parts using orbital and right-angle sanders, grinders, and specified hand tools. The goal is to ensure high-quality results and productivity while maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
-Perform deburring operations on a variety of parts, including complex ones, while meeting established parameters and maintaining productivity and quality standards.
-Utilize a range of deburring equipment and hand tools to consistently meet or exceed finish specifications and production targets.
-Identify and resolve any issues that may affect production output or quality.
-Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Requirements
-Must be over 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
-Physically capable of performing routine and heavy tasks with full range of motion.
-Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
-Good understanding and ability to use deburring and finishing tools and precision measuring tools is a plus!
-Ideally, 1-3 years of grinding experience in a precision manufacturing environment, some training provided.
-Normal working conditions in a manufacturing environment, Mon-Fri with occasional weekend and/or evening work.
