Manual Machinist
Manual Machinist is responsible for supporting machine setup, production, and troubleshooting.
These components use a variety of materials and have tightly controlled dimensional and surface finish requirements.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions.
Maintain specifications by working with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
Experience with manual lathes, knee mills, and various other manual equipment a plus
Perform proper and complete station cleanings daily and on a job-by-job basis.
Low Volume/High Mix, and High Volume/Low Mix
3+ years of experience in Set-up and Operation (experience on Lathe required.)
Experience with machining different materials (e.g. aluminum, stainless, titanium, plastics etc)
Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted, repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting, exposure to typical manufacturing chemicals (coolant, solvents, cleaners) are generally required to perform the functions of this position
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Provide feedback and support to Production Engineers to optimize machining sequences and process.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE)+ Insurances + Bonus + PTO
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
