Established Santa Clara machining and metal manufacturer manufacture welcomes inquiries from highly experienced industry leaders with machining, estimating and professional skills utilizing Hass vertical machining centers.
Highlights of Duties :
Analyze blueprints, CAD files, and specifications to prepare cost estimates for machining processes.
Calculate setup, runtime, labor, and tooling costs based on project requirements.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and reports for review.
Collaborate with procurement team, suppliers, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing information.
Correspond with Engineering Manager on design, process, or manufacturability concerns.
Ensure timely completion of estimates.
Highlights of Requirements:
Proven industry experience in machining and estimating (5+ yrs.)
Familiarity with CAD software, Solid Works, Master Cam, Auto Cad, or similar programs.
Extensive knowledge of machining techniques and tooling requirements.
Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills.
Attention to detail and analytical thinking abilities.
This is a part time contract remote work position, compensation is negotiable (per diem.)
