We are a stable family-owned manufacturing company, proudly producing MADE IN AMERICA machinery in the Bay Area since 1929. Our headquarters in Emeryville is where we design, sell, and manufacture machinery that is installed all over the world. We are looking for skilled people to join our Union workforce. We have a position open on our swing shift. The duties include parts prepping (steam pressure wash and acetone wipe down) prior to painting. Other duties include assisting in breaking down machinery ahead of shipping. Skidding machines for shipping, and packing all associated components for the order. On the job training is provided, and previous manufacturing warehouse experience is preferred. The standard hours of our swing shift is 3:00pm to 11:30pm
Job Qualifications:
Prior experience with material prep prior to painting (mostly steel).
Ability to efficiently use/read tape measure.
Use of pneumatic nail and staple guns.
Efficient use of basic mechanics tools.
(Ability to read blue prints is a plus)
Candidates may be requested to come in for a formal interview and to take a written test which consists of measurements, conversions of fractions/decimals, and tool descriptions.
