This position is for a mechanical Inspector that understands how to use micrometers, indicators, optical comparator, surface finish gage, thread gage, bore gages and other hand tools to check dimensions according to customer drawings.
A plus is CMM experience with Zeiss Calypso software.
Our job shop is high mix and low volume which means that your day will go by very fast – there is never a dull moment in the inspection room. It is fast paced and can be very hectic. This Job is well suited for someone who works fast and can tolerate interruptions.
Inspector Job Requirements:
The ability to read and understand prints
Knowledge of GDT Symbols
AS9100 and ISO13485 background
Ability to communicate clearly with Employees and Customers, both written and verbal
CMM knowledge is required (Calypso preferred)
Create and upload AS9100 inspection reports to customer portals
