About the Role
LBIES is looking for a qualified individual who is familiar with electrical equipment and comfortable working around line voltage equipment.
Field Evaluators perform electrical evaluation at client sites and represent the professionalism of the LBIES team. You are the face of LBIES.
Responsibilities
Review electrical diagrams of industrial machinery and facility systems.
Perform Client-site evaluations of electrical equipment, including switchgear, machinery, and plant systems per company provided checklist
Conduct electrical testing to ensure compliance with standards by taking and recording accurate electrical measurements (temperature, voltage, & current) using the proper equipment
Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and recommendations - Machinery deficiencies are recorded and a punch list is produced of correctable issues for the client.
Communication and collaboration: When the client has completed the punch list, schedule a final re-evaluation to make sure punch list items have been corrected
Collaborate directly with our technical and engineering teams - upload pictures, recorded data, and prepare checklist in a timely manner which the Project Manager can review and finalize the report(s)
Develop your expertise and skillset through mentorship, training, and experience.
Requirements
High School diploma, GED (general education degree) or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. No prior experience in electrical systems evaluation, installation, or maintenance necessary.
Familiar knowledge of electrical principles and standards - Electrical Theory, concepts, and test equipment
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, clear and concise communication skills both written and verbal, highly organized and punctual
Must have a valid CA Driver’s License, and clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal instruction/direction
Familiarity with MS Office and Google Workspace
Ability to write clear and concise technical reports
Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and possibly throughout US
