Overview & Responsibilities
Victor Aviation is Expanding their Operations and looking for self-motivated individuals with a “High Pride of Workmanship”. As a Machinist Engine Technician, you will work in a “Family Friendly” Environment restoring, rebuilding and testing high performance Lycoming and Continental aircraft engine components and other duties as assigned. Airframe & Powerplant license is not required. All training provided by employer. Applicant should have experience on automotive, trucks, motorcycles, or small engine repair. No aircraft engine experience required. “Old-Time Craftmanship” talents a plus.
The Machinist Engine Technician should have strong working knowledge of torque wrenches, micrometers, reamers, valve grinding equipment and interpret technical manuals/blueprints.

Machining & Testing Equipment:
Lathes – Hardinge Precision Horizontal
Milling Machines – J-Head Bridgeport
Honing – Sunnen CK-10 Automatic
Surface Finishing – Clemco/Empire Blasting
Valve Grinding – Sioux
Balancing – Stewart Warner
Connecting Rod Boring – Kwikway
Engine Thrust Velocity Testing
Magnaflux MP, Liquid Penetrant PT, Ultrasonic UT, Eddy Current ET
Required
Drug Testing and Background Check Required Prior to Employment
Must work well in a Team Environment with good Interpersonal Skills.
5 years minimum experience required.
Valid US driver's license
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Basic Tools required. Specialty tools provided by Employer.
Full Time 6:30-4:30 Monday-Thursday. Overtime Available.
High School Diploma, Trade School Related Experience
