Job Description CNC LATHE TURN MILL MACHINIST
Duties/Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:
Set up and operate CNC lathes and Turn Mills.
Prove out new and repeat programs
Optimize programs to increase efficiency
Use inspection tools to monitor dimensional accuracy.
Monitor tooling and replace when necessary
Job Skills:
Familiar with CNC lathes with Fanuc control, Mori Seiki, Nakamura, Mazak. B-axis turn mills and/or Lathes with live tooling
Must have strong knowledge of G and M codes
Must be knowledgeable with GD&T.
Strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic and work well with others.
Must be organized and accurate with documentation.
Desired Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
Programming using CAD/CAM. Featurecam experience a plus.
Knowledge of machining processes and problem-solving skills to ensure strict quality and cosmetic standards
10 years' experience as a CNC Lathe set up machinist
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $32.60 – $55.43 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
