Job Responsibilities
Review and analyze Engineering Request Forms.
Coordinate purchasing activities with the Engineering Department to acquire material in a timely manner.
Analyze Sourcing Matrix, Engineering Specifications, submit Request for Quote to Suppliers, execute Request for Change orders and issue purchase orders to the Suppliers.
Ability to work under rigorous deadlines in a time sensitive, fast paced environment required.
May be required to recommend alternative sourcing to meet the Engineer need dates. Interact closely with Suppliers, Engineering, Supply Business Managers, QA, Shipping, Receiving and Accounting to resolve issues.
Working knowledge of BOM's (read it, cross check with inventory)
Semi-Conductor industry knowledge and experience buying commodities such as Metal Machining, PCBA, Plastics, Quartz, Ceramics, Sheet Metal, Outsourced Assemblies, Cables or Weldments preferred.

Duration: 2 year contract
Schedule: Mon - Fri |8am - 4:30pm
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience
Proficient computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge and experience in ERP systems and other procurement related tools
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Sense of urgency
Team work - work as a team/group

Consistently demonstrate concern for precision and thoroughness, while maintaining sense of urgency.
Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams.
