Job Summary:

Are you passionate about igniting creativity and nurturing young minds? We're seeking a dynamic and creative leader to step into the role of General Manager at our Children's Art Studio. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to fostering creativity and imagination in children through art and STEM education. As the General Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization's operations, from curriculum development and staff management to customer relations and administrative tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to make a profound impact on the lives of young artists and their families. The Art Studio General Manager holds the primary responsibility for managing and directing our educational and special events programming. As a crucial member of the Leadership Team, the General Manager collaborates closely with the Operations team to ensure the availability of resources necessary for the successful execution of educational courses and special events.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate art & STEM curriculum for children of varying skill levels.

Lead and mentor a team of 8 teaching artists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality art instruction.

Recruit, train, and supervise a team of art instructors and administrative staff.

Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the studio, including scheduling classes, managing supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Lead marketing efforts by planning and executing events, workshops, and programs to attract new students and engage existing ones.

Drive sales and outreach initiatives to increase enrollment and build partnerships within the community.

Engage with the local community to foster relationships and promote the studio's mission and offerings.

Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the success of programs and make data-driven decisions for improvement.

Manage the studio's budget, including expenses, revenue, and financial reporting.

Assist in the development of new programs and curriculum design, ensuring they align with educational objectives and meet the needs of students.

Qualifications:

Minimum five (5) years of program management experience at a managerial level.

Three (3) years of supervisory experience, overseeing a team.

Demonstrated success in customer service or community engagement for at least two (2) years.

Track record in creating and managing arts education programs.

Proficiency in managing contracts, grants, and budgets.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Problem-solving abilities with flexibility and adaptability.

Proficiency in office applications and database management.

Bachelor's degree in fine arts, art education, or related field; Master's preferred.

Strong artistic skills and knowledge of various techniques.

Effective communication and leadership skills.

Understanding of child development principles and educational best practices.

Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
