This hybrid role combines the project management and client responsibilities of an Account Coordinator with the digital expertise of a Social Media Manager. The position involves assisting with client relationships, project management, and overseeing social media initiatives to ensure alignment with client and agency goals.

Specific to social media, this position will define and manage clients’ social media strategies and help plan and coordinate the execution of all social marketing activities across assigned accounts. Lead development of social content calendars, monitor key metrics, and drive best practices across the agency. Additionally, this candidate will work alongside a specialized team to reach the client’s goals.

Overview of Responsibilities:

Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with agency clients, understanding their business needs and managing multiple projects with a cross-functional agency team.

Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with client goals and maintaining a consistent brand voice. Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn.

Market Research & Insights: Conduct research to understand client needs, industry trends, competitor offerings, and social media innovations.

Content Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content for social media platforms that resonate with target audiences. Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency.

Campaign Performance & Reporting: Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Sprout Social providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with account management, creative, and customer support teams to deliver seamless client experiences and integrated campaigns.

Budget & Advertising Management: Oversee social media advertising campaigns, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budgets.

Relationship Building: To maximize campaign impact, foster connections with key influencers, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong understanding of sales processes and social media platforms.

Proficiency with social media management software (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).

Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.

Familiarity with industry trends and emerging social media platforms.

This role is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented professional with a passion for building strong client relationships and driving measurable results through strategic social media marketing.
