Summary: Part-time (20–30 hrs/week), $28/hr, based in SF. Produce and post Rarebird flyers using our in-house print setup. Physical, hands-on work with an eye for detail and good design.
== About Rarebird ==
On most dating apps, you feel like you have to fit into a box. On Rarebird, the more you show your quirks, the better it works. We tap into your instincts about who you’d rather meet to find and connect you with people you're excited about and who are also excited about meeting you.
We’re launching in San Francisco now, and this role is about helping us make Rarebird visible in the real world through beautifully printed flyers and posters that stand out on the street and spark curiosity.
== The Role ==
This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes marketing role with a craft element. You’ll be producing our printed materials with precision and care, then bringing them to life in the city’s streetscape.
Your work will include:
Running our in-house printer and cutter to produce flyers, posters, and other materials.
Trimming, bundling, and organizing materials for distribution.
Posting flyers in high-visibility spots across SF and nearby areas.
Some days you’ll be in the studio making sure every print looks sharp and true to our colors. Other days you’ll be out in the city, finding the right spots to place them where they’ll actually get noticed.
== About You ==
You don’t have to be a marketing guru. You might have worked in printmaking, design, art handling, or just like making things look great.
What matters most is that you:
Are reliable, organized, and self-directed.
Enjoy physical, hands-on work.
Have an eye for quality, alignment, and detail.
Comfortable moving through different neighborhoods and putting up flyers on utility poles.
Bonus if you:
Have experience with graphic design (Figma, Illustrator) or RIP software (Onyx, Caldera, Fiery).
Are interested in growing into other operational roles at Rarebird.
