0xPARC is seeking an experienced professional in event operations or event production to join our team and help us run a seamless, high-quality conference for approximately 500 attendees this Summer in SF Bay Area. We're currently looking for a project-bound contractor, however we're open to evaluate the relationship after the event.
This is an intermediate-senior position requiring previous event management experience.
You'll work side by side with our project lead and your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee event logistics and production from planning to execution (setup - event - dismantle days)
- Vendor sourcing: production & AV agency, venue reps, catering, security, etc.
- Vendor management prior to event and on-site coordination
- Creating and disseminating logistical information via various communication channels
- Volunteers acquisition, onboarding and on-site coordination
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders re. project timeline and progress
- Creating cue sheets, logistical run-downs and team schedules
- Troubleshoot and run day-of operations during setup, event and dismantle days
