Our interactive stories blend physical and digital elements to foster creativity, collaboration, and adventure. We are opening a gaming store in downtown Mill Valley and launching our first immersive experience for families.
We are seeking a Digital & Event Marketing Manager to lead our email marketing, social media, and in-person event marketing efforts. This role is ideal for a creative marketer who thrives in both digital spaces and live environments, helping us engage our community, grow our audience, and drive participation in our experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing:
Develop and execute email campaigns to engage existing subscribers and attract new customers.
Write, design, and schedule email newsletters, promotional campaigns, and automated sequences.
Track email performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and optimize for better engagement.
Social Media Management:
Develop and implement a content strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X).
Create engaging posts, graphics, and short-form videos that align with our brand voice.
Schedule and publish content, ensuring consistent audience engagement.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions.
Track analytics and adjust strategies to optimize growth and engagement.
Event Marketing & In-Person Promotions:
Assist in planning and executing marketing activations at live events, pop-ups, and festivals.
Coordinate with the team to create promotional materials and on-site brand experiences.
Engage with attendees, collect leads, and encourage participation in Woander World experiences.
Capture live content (photos, videos) for real-time social media updates and post-event promotions.
Marketing Strategy & Growth:
Collaborate with our creative team to align messaging across digital and physical channels.
Implement audience growth strategies, including paid promotions and partnerships.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital and experiential marketing.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in digital marketing, event marketing, or a related field.
Strong copywriting skills with a fun, engaging, and adventurous tone.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit).
Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Sprout Social).
Ability to analyze data and optimize marketing strategies accordingly.
Comfort with in-person event marketing, engaging with attendees, and representing the brand.
Knowledge of immersive entertainment, gaming, or family-friendly experiences is a plus.
Basic graphic design or video editing skills are a bonus (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut).
Contract Details
Commitment: 1-2 days / week (flexible based on campaign and event needs).
Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential for renewal.
Compensation: $30 / hour or project-based fee, depending on experience.
