Planful, Inc. in San Francisco, CA seeks Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities: The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring the overall marketing strategies for Planful; working directly with the CEO to translate corporate vision and strategy into actionable marketing initiatives; participating in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives to ensure marketing initiatives are properly implemented; providing regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics and marketing data analysis for the CEO and executive leadership; developing and evolving Planful’s corporate and product marketing and branding to differentiate and elevate Planful within the EPM Industry; directing the vision, strategy, budget and execution for all marketing initiatives; developing marketing strategies with the EPM industry, using knowledge of market trends and the competitive landscape within the EPM industry; managing and all marketing activities to ensure marketing data and trends are analyzed regularly and that the results of the data analysis are implemented through comprehensive marketing strategies; leading, developing, and scaling Creative, Demand Creation, Corporate Communication, and Events teams across all locations; and directing market research to stay informed of competitor positioning and creating and directing marketing initiative based upon the results of this research to ensure market competitiveness. Other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 7 years of experience in the job offered or related enterprise software marketing positions. Other special requirements include: 7 years of experience managing the marketing of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) or Marketing Performance Management (MPM) software; 7 years of experience managing, creating strategy for, and growing online and offline marketing channels; 7 years of experience establishing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to carry out marketing goals and strategies; 7 years of experience creating and implementing new marketing processes for continuous optimization and improvement; and 7 years of experience leading and conducting in-depth research and analysis: including pricing, market identification, account planning and segmentation. Wage: $300,000 to $325,000
