Estate and Trust firm in South Bay seeks Receptionist/Legal Assistant. The position is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Starting Salary is $30/hour.
This position involves the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Answering incoming telephone calls;
2. Filing documents and pleadings;
3. Ordering and maintaining office supplies;
4. Preparing pleadings for filing with the court;
5. Preparing letters and other documents as needed;
6. Manage the office calendar, set client appointments, and greet clients for in office appointments.
Required Skills:
Computer/Technology: Our office uses a variety of software programs to manage our work flow. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Experience with WordPerfect is helpful but not necessary.
Interpersonal Skills: Our is a small, high volume office. Interpersonal skills are essential for this job: interacting with staff; speaking on the phone with a variety of individuals; and, interacting with clients daily.
Attention to detail: This position requires filing, calendaring, and document preparation. All require attention to detail to ensure our office continues to function at a high capacity.
