We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to join a small but faced paced law office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal support, with a particular focus on litigation. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including drafting and proofreading legal documents, managing attorney calendars, and coordinating billing and expenses. If you are a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Document Management:Draft, proofread, and revise correspondence and legal documents as directed by attorneys.Coordinate document preparation activities, including printing, copying, scanning, and faxing.Maintain and update electronic client files, indexes, and perform routine State & Federal Court filing.Scheduling and Coordination:Manage and update calendars for assigned attorneys, including coordinating travel arrangements and scheduling meetings.Prepare, pack, and mail trial and deposition prep binders, as well as other packages and correspondence.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.A minimum of 3 years of experience with a strong background in litigation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow instructions.Ability to prioritize tasks, remain focused, and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.Comfortable working independently within a collaborative team setting.Capable of handling confidential information with discretion.Ability to quickly shift focus between tasks without frustration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
