We are a boutique law firm in Downtown Oakland looking for an experienced Litigation Assistant/Paralegal who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation. Trial experience a plus.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree preferred
Paralegal Certificate from ABA
Must have 4+ years minimum of litigation experience
Solid understanding of court rules, procedures and calendaring
Proficient in Relativity, DISCO, and other eDiscovery software
Experienced with Federal and California e-filing procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
NetDocuments and Bill4Time knowledge a plus
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to work well under pressure, self-reliant, and can prioritize workload
Proactive, problem solver and resourceful
Must be organized, detail oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
Position is full time (40 hours a week), M-F, with occasional overtime. This role is fully in the office. We offer excellent benefits.
