Well-established Applicant firm is seeking an Associate with a valid California law license with a minimum of 2 years of Workers' Compensation experience.
This is a fully remote position for a candidate who is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The attorney will be responsible for representing injured workers in the Northern California WCAB's (the candidate must be able to travel to the Northern WCAB locations as needed).
Responsibilities:
Represent clients at different Northern California WCAB's
Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
Advise clients on plans of action and case-handling recommendations
Negotiate settlements
Comply with all legal standards and regulations
Qualifications:
Current member of the California State Bar with no disciplinary actions
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in Workers' Compensation law
Familiarity with various Workers' Compensation legal documents and procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
