San Francisco law firm supporting dynamic media/tech clients seeks legal assistant to support litigation, corporate and trademark matters. Litigation and trademark responsibilities will include document preparation and e-filing, calendaring deadlines, managing the document flow among clients, attorneys, and affiliates, and maintaining cloud-based case files. Corporate and transactional responsibilities will include research, preparation of documents from firm templates, and client communications.
Applicants should have familiarity with the California Code of Civil Procedure and state court rules, as well as the local rules of the state and federal courts in San Francisco. Willing to train a candidate who possesses overall knowledge of trademarks. Must have excellent command of Microsoft Word, including tables and other formatting features. Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong proofreading skills are required.
Annual compensation of $65,000 to $100,000 depending on skills and experience. Position can be partly remote, but candidates must be within commuting distance of firm’s office in the San Francisco financial district.
