Who We Are:

We are a boutique family law firm located in Pleasanton, CA. Operating throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with over a decade of guiding parents, spouses, and domestic partners through family court. We focus on all aspects of family law including prenuptial agreements, dissolution and nullity, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, paternity, post-judgment enforcement and modification, and domestic violence restraining orders. We are a small but mighty team who believe all our clients deserve to be heard.

Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and passionate family law attorney to join our team. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment with demanding deadlines. Someone who is punctual and committed to providing the best services possible to our clients. Additionally, someone who would like to grow with our firm.

What You Will Do:

Draft pleadings (including request for orders with accompanying declarations, memorandum of points and authorities, settlement conference statements)

Draft and respond to discovery requests

Follow up on court submitted documents.

Respond to clients/opposing lawyers as needed within a reasonable timeframe.

Be available for court appearances as needed

Ad-hoc task/projects as needed.

Who You Are:

A licensed Attorney able to practice law in the state of California

3-5 years’ experience in family law is required (Court experience is a plus)

Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and complete critical tasks with minimal oversight

Possesses good judgment and strong analytical, client counseling, and negotiation skills

Has excellent research and writing skills

PAY AND BENEFITS: The position pays $90,000 - $150,000 annual salary (depending on years of litigation experience and skill), bonus structure including discretionary bonuses, additional compensation for personal referrals (explained at interview), paid holidays, eligibility for health insurance benefits and 401(k). The firm also pays for approved continuing education, malpractice insurance and state and local bar dues. We will provide details, terms and conditions provided at the interview.
