Key Responsibilities:

Legal Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents such as petitions, motions, and discovery requests with precision and efficiency.

Case Management: Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files, managing deadlines, and preparing for hearings and trials.

Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather information, update them on case progress, and provide exceptional customer service.

Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.

Court Filings: File documents with the court and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in family law.

Certification: Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in case management software and other legal technologies.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage a substantial case load.

Document Preparation: Extensive experience in preparing & filing legal documents with a strong attention to detail.

Research Skills: Strong research and report-generating skills.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, attorneys, and court officials.

Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Professionalism: Unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality, with a passion for advocating for clients' rights and interests.
