Court/ eFiling Specialist is a critical role in the Court Department. This position interacts with various internal departments including Court, Service of Process and e-Filing. The primary duties and responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of all court filings and performing ongoing database maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Enter all data for court service and efficiently while monitoring quality control.
2. Meet or exceed expectations and needs of the Court Department which will be established by the Service of Court Supervisor.
3. Maintain high level of proficiency in working with Microsoft Office Suite of applications and other proprietary software.
4. Develops and maintains an excellent working relationship with other departments, staff and coworkers to make sure we exceed the customer's expectations and needs.
5. Maintains a high level of confidentiality with regards to all internal, external matters and other material as deemed necessary.
Job Qualifications:

A familiarity with court document filing in California, for a variety of case types (i.e., civil, probate, family law, etc.)
At least 2 years relevant work experience (i.e., working for a law firm or for an attorney service) Please note that candidates without relevant experience will not be considered for this role
At least 1 years’ experience eFiling into California courts (preferably using the Legal Connect platform, but not required to have used this platform)
An associate’s degree or higher is preferred (but not required)

1. Hours 8:30am-5pm
2. Oakland - In Office Position
3. $21 -30 an hour
