"Immediate opening" Associate Attorney San Ramon, CA Insurance defense firm handling cases throughout CA and NV has an immediate opening for an attorney with 5-15 years of civil litigation experience. We are looking for an attorney with extensive deposition, arbitration and mediation experience in defending civil lawsuits. CA bar admission is required, and additional admission in NV is preferred. Insurance defense experience is also required. Our practice is focused on the defense of bodily injury, property damage, consumer and employment claims for insurers and self-insureds in the auto and solar industries. This is a remote position that can accommodate candidates residing in CA or NV.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle cases from start to finish and take an active role in case evaluation and strategy, gain court room experience, taking and defendingdepositions, drafting and arguing motions, preparing cases for arbitration and trial, as well as extensive client contact. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and will have graduated froman ABA accredited law school and be licensed to practice in CA. Admission to practice in NV is also beneficial Our practice spans all the State and Federal courts in CA and NV. Computer skills are required. Proficiency withWestlaw, Microsoft,Adobe, and hourly billing applications required. We have a minimum productivity requirement of 1,800 hours billed to clients per year.
