WORKING FOREMAN:(This is not a project management position)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, implement and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goals
Coordinate ordering of materials with Project Manager and plan work in advance to accommodate logistical needs of meeting project deadlines
Manage and monitor installation crew(s) in all aspects of concrete work including dirt work, forms, rebar, place, and finish
Adhere to relevant safety regulations
Ensure others clean and prepare construction sites.
Dig ditches or trenches by using hand and power tools and break up concrete
Concrete forming
Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
Rebar Installation
Backfill excavations, and compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers and rakes.
Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations in accordance with project plans and specifications.
Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones when needed
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to read and implement plans
Physical Demands:
Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing.
Heavy lifting and carrying of equipment and raw materials
Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Must be physically capable of concrete work (e.g., working foreman)
Experience:
5+ years experience in concrete construction
2+ years experience as foreman or similar.
Spanish speaking required

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
