Local, family-owned meat company is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to work as a shipping handler and delivery driver.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist meat cutters with trimming of meat products in mornings
- Operate and assist with slicing machines and production equipment
- Wrap and package meat for deliveries
- Assist in organizing products in freezers/coolers
- Assist in checking inbound received orders from other vendors
- Ability to set up outbound orders from pick sheets
- Deliver products to customers in timely manner
- Fork lift experience preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Team player with a positive attitude! Looking for enthusiastic personalities to represent the company on deliveries.
- Must have strong work ethic
- Must be able to calculate weights using scales
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent maneuvering in and out of freezers, coolers and processing room
- Two handed lifting, handling, and carrying boxes up to 60 lbs
- Two handed pushing, pulling and lifting of loaded and unloaded carts
- Neat and professional appearance required.

Must be available Monday - Friday, 6am - 4pm (start/end hours may vary)
Salary: $20/hr (health benefits & 401k)
