Who we're looking for

The Warewash Lead at Encore Events Rentals plays a vital role in guiding and supporting the Warewash department. This position involves leading the team, providing training, and ensuring the completion of departmental duties and tasks. The Warewash Lead frequently communicates with Sales, Warehouse, and Inventory teams. Responsibilities include working with the Warewash team to accurately count, clean, process, and prepare Warewash orders.

What you'll do

-Learn and maintain product knowledge of all Warewash items including china, glassware, flatware, serving items, décor and more

-Dry, clean, wrap, and package Warewash items including china, glassware, flatware, serving items, décor, and more following company processes

-Communicate with Sales and Inventory teams on missing items, order updates, and cancellations as needed to complete order prepping.

-Conduct inventory checks as needed, working with Inventory, Warewash and Sales

-Safely load commercial dishwasher with plates, glass racks, flatware racks, serving items and cooking items

-Print daily orders report and assist in delegating tasks to department team members

-Meet with department leadership daily to assist in prioritizing team tasks and determine production objectives for the day

-Assist in mentoring and supporting new team members, focusing on training and communication

To stand out you’ll need to

Have a high School diploma or equivalent

Have a minimum of 3 years of Dishwashing/Kitchen experience

Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in leading and organizing projects, trainings, or teams

Be bilingual in English and Spanish is required

Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel)

Be available to work during weekends and holidays

Routinely use standard warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and ladders

Do extensive standing, walking, and considerable bending and lifting for extended periods of time.

Consistently be able to lift 40 to 70 pounds
