Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk
SoundVision is an industry leading Home Theater and Automation contractor.
We are looking for a warehouse clerk to maintain efficient operations in our 3,000 Square foot warehouse.
Primary Function:
The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is clean and organized, all incoming shipping/orders are received accurately into the inventory system and staged for installation. They pull existing inventory to create project bins for new jobs, and they are responsible for keeping the min/max inventory system in compliance. The Warehouse Clerk performs cycle counts regularly to assure inventory is correct. They promptly ship out RAs, return damaged or faulty equipment and track to verify a replacement or repaired unit is received. They make sure that all communication necessary to deliver on this goal is executed in a timely and professional manner.
Major Responsibilities:
Keeps the warehouse organized and clean.
Receives equipment from UPS and enters data into QuickBooks.
Runs the RA process.
Stages Equipment for pick-up by Technicians.
Maintains Min/Max inventories on all stock items.
Performs Cycle Counts regularly.
Pulls inventory to create project bins for new jobs.
Logs / Tracks the checkout and return of community equipment and supplies.
Restock the drink refrigerator in the employee break room.
Fosters an enthusiastic, creative, "can do" attitude.
Shares the responsibility for the Company and department goals.
Skills, Qualifications and Knowledge:
Strong Computer Skills: Proficient in Windows and familiar with QuickBooks, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Detail oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills
Proactive, flexible team player who is comfortable working in a small company environment taking on a leadership role
Highly motivated, self-starter
Good verbal and written communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Starts at $28 per hour.
Hours: 40 per week + Overtime as needed.
