(Start immediately) Operations Support needed (Petaluma)

We are a small business launching a short- term project in Petaluma, CA and are looking for hardworking, self-motivated individuals to join our team. Immediate start until end October.

Key responsibilities:

-Ensure all products are scanned in and allocated to each store in a timely manner.

-Collection and servicing of receptacles on a daily basis

-Prepare all orders for delivery, including inspecting the order for accuracy, verifying delivery details, and packing it for delivery.

-Verify all orders are packed correctly, before adding them to the delivery van

-Communicate with customers regarding order status, and assist them if needed.

- Scanning and allocating inventory to appropriate locations using provided technology

- Inspecting packaging, labeling, and documenting inventory accurately

-Emptying trash receptacles at each location, replacing bin liner, and properly documenting each collection

-Reverse logistics deliveries and collections of packaging to appropriate locations

- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures.

-Sortation of packaging and placing into the appropriate receptacles.

·Able to lift up to 30 lbs., stand or sit for long periods of time at a desk or workstation. Work may require travel outside of normal day time hours. Must have reliable transportation to and from work sites.

-Can operate a commercial transportation van.

-Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required qualifications and skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality control or warehouse management are a plus.

-Good verbal communication skills – ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers.

-Valid and up to date CA Food handlers card

-Strong customer service skills – friendly demeanor with customers and co-workers.

-Self motivated and independent working skills

- Prior experience in operations or inventory a bonus but not required

- Knowledge of quality control principles, procedures, and best practices.

- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to learn relevant software or tools used for operations

-Training provided so no previous experience required if you are a motivated learner

-Great for students or people looking for part time flexible work

Benefits:

Job Type: Part or Full-time Position Available

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
